This is exactly what I needed for winter water sampling. In New England, I collect seawater samples weekly, and winters can be harsh. The cold and constant wind on the beach makes my fingers numb as soon as I get out of the car. I bought these because the neoprene gloves I have are not warm and are terribly uncomfortable to put on and take off. These gloves slip easily over my regular gloves so my fingers are never exposed to the weather. They're quite warm and totally waterproof, and I can put the cap on the bottle and easily turn the thermometer on and off while wearing them. Although my fingers are still cold they are not numb and I am much happier than without them!
