Received in early November. My 9 year old loves laceless shoes and loves styles that can be worn with both casual and dressy outfits. He's been wearing them almost every day since we got them (although he has winter boots for playing outside) and now after about 5 weeks the rubber in front of the toes is coming off the shoe. For a $50 shoe, I expect longer wear. True my son plays them hard but he's 9 - shouldn't that be expected? The leather also shows abrasions, but I could live with that - a little shoe polish didn't fix the situation. Boots. He wore them for a full year and eventually wore out the sole of one of them before we had to replace it. Unfortunately, This company no longer makes the same style so I chose these as a replacement. In my opinion, they are extremely inadequate.
