Opel Astra H 2022 Z16XER. There was an issue with the pulleys that control the phase shifter. After some time had passed, the petals that open and seal the oil access began to knock and made a sound similar to that of a diesel engine. At that same point, the automobile had approximately 110–120 thousand miles on the odometer, and the original GM oil was poured into the engine. The pulleys were changed out, and this oil (Liqui Moly Top Tec 4600 5W-30) was selected as the replacement. In addition to this, they started pouring in Shell 95 V-power (which had detergent chemicals). Following 70,000 kilometers, the "head" of the cylinder block was taken off and discarded. Although there was some dust and grime lodged in the crevices, everything else was in "virgin" condition. According to the service, the condition is good for another 180-190 thousand kilometers. At this point, the odometer reads 245k. There are no issues with the pulleys. Change the oil every 6,000 to 8,000 miles using an oil filter from the original manufacturer or one from the MANN-FILTER brand. I'm going to keep pouring the Shell 95 V-power. I use DENSO IK16 iridium spark plugs. Nothing to worry about at all.
