You are buying an electronic device and you cannot change the batteries! Well, not easy. There is no battery compartment, so you have to disassemble the device to get to the batteries. Not a good design. It's hard to imagine the designers finding a use for it and throwing the thing away, but they did. Otherwise it is an accurate tire pressure sensor. The part you put on the valve stem is plastic and rubber so I don't know if this tool is long lasting (as long as the batteries last).
