Of course, collagen molecules are too large to penetrate the skin, and do not affect the amount or health of our own skin's collagen supply. That being said, topical collagen can be an effective moisturizer. Sodium Hyaluronate is also an excellent moisturizer, and is present in ample amounts here as it is the fourth ingredient. I am unsure why they state that it is in the form of hyaluronic acid, which is a different form of this substance.The masks are very well shaped for the face. They have flaps that you can use to cover and treat the eye area, which I found useful. They come saturated, and even after 30 minutes they did not dry out. They are so soaked, I usually find my hands are covered with essence after application, which I put on my neck and hands just for good measure.I did notice that my skin was more moisturized and plumped after using this. It did stay on my face quite well, though since I use the eye flaps I usually lie down within a few minutes of putting it on.These do contain fragrance, but as a last ingredient, and the smell is not strong. I suspect it is not enough to irritate skin. There is no alcohol, lemon or other citrus extracts, essential oils, eucalyptus, peppermint, methol, or other known irritants that I usually scan for in an ingredients list to avoid. It did not sting, and was very soothing.I have used this mask only 5 times, so only enough to notice temporary effects after use. It would take long term use to produce brightening effects, which was not my aim. As for its "skin nutrition" claims, I am not sure what that means. As with other sheet masks, it is very relaxing.
