Review on 🌧️ DampRid FG80 Hanging Moisture Absorber Fresh Scent - Eliminate Excess Dampness with 6-Pack by Raye Johnson

I have ordered these many times over the years. They are great at trapping moisture and protecting it from clothes and other items that are kept in my closets. One of the places I use them is in the closet where my washer and dryer are, so there is more moisture there than in a regular closet or linen closet. Before I started using them in this closet, I often noticed a slightly damp, musty smell that carried over to other items stored there on the shelves. After hanging one of these from a magnetic hook on the side of the washing machine, I noticed that the moisture and musty smell disappeared within a few days. Now I hang there all the time and haven't had this problem since. They are truly odorless - I have never noticed an odor in any of these products that I have purchased. I prefer them to citrus, lavender, or "fresh" scents, which smell strong and leave that smell on my clothes and linens. I leave them hanging in places where they aren't in direct contact with tissues or can drip onto anything if they leak, as I've read in reviews from others that it can leave an oily mess if they leak. This varies somewhat depending on the weather and time of year, but it usually takes a few months for the bottom of one of these bags to fill with liquid and use up all the crystals from the top. It's always impressive to see all the liquid that's piling up and feel how heavy it is as it fills up. That's a lot of water they won't let me in my stuff.
