Great entry-level headset at a great price that won't break the bank. I was skeptical at first because this headset was made by a company I had never heard of and the price was around $20. I've had terrible headphones in this price range. I also had some really great headphones. The sound was at eye level. I also felt immersed in the games I played. I've tested all kinds of games, from war to driving. The highs and mids were crisp and clear. Low frequencies rumbled, without cracks or crackles with explosions or sudden changes when a bass kick would occur. This also applies to switching between games and music. When playing online games, the microphone picks up vocals well and clearly. With decent noise cancellation. I also tested the mic while recording live vocals, when the music picked up every note with clarity and precision. The cable is well made of nylon braid. The volume knob and mic controls are in the headset, eliminating the need to press the knob that's typically on the cord. The only thing I could think of was that the headset was a bit tight around my head, but not entirely uncomfortable. Possibly a different headband, but not essential. If you're making a wireless device, it's definitely worth buying one. Perhaps you have additional functionality for the USB port, in addition to simply powering the LEDs in the headset. Player / Live Video Chat / Music / Music Recording. A great affordable headset for every type of gamer, from novice to pro.
