I've only had a new duvet and cover for 2 nights but I'm very happy with the purchase and the product. I was a bit apprehensive as there were no reviews but it seemed to be just what I needed at an affordable price. I wanted to leave a positive review to help others who may be interested but have been put off by the lack of feedback. I don't know where to stop, but if anyone sends questions I'll be happy to answer them. I looked at several options but I think I went with this one because the fabric of the blanket is 100% cotton, it's not too warm/hot, the cover and the insert are made by the same company, so am I am sure they fit correctly and comes with 8 ties. Filling is distributed and secured in sewn sections for attachment, lots of added detail and a satisfaction guarantee from the company. I hope this product will continue to please me and I think it will last a long time 😀 I will say that I noticed a difference between 300 threads and more, but with my budget and all the other priorities mentioned I was ready, to forego more flows. If you're looking for a hotel-style experience, you should also understand that only very large hotels deal with high-thread-count sheets anyway, so you can still get that crisp, clean, white hotel-bed style with a lower-thread-count sheet. I washed them once and I expect they will get even softer over time. Not to say they're prickly or uncomfortable now - that's far from the case.
