We've had the monitor for almost two years and it's been used less (maybe a year and a half of use, bought as a gift). Overall the concept and utility is fantastic and very useful for what it was bought for. The main complaint concerns the connector that connects the monitor to the laptop. The laptop it is used on is almost never mobile, it stays in one place on the table and closes when not in use. The side it attaches to is flimsy and expands so you can see the inside of the Duex monitor. The monitor itself still works, but needs constant maintenance and support to keep it from completely cracking. I definitely feel that given the cost it should have been a higher quality and more durable product. Had it lasted longer I'd certainly buy another one later if needed, but for now I'll probably look at other brands.
