Works great and easy to use

I decided to try these Lexin intercoms and I'm glad I did. They do everything they advertise well and are easy to use, which means they are not that complicated to use. They come together easily every time. Used them for a 6 hour road and mud ride with no issues. On one occasion my helmet fell off the seat as I stepped off the bike and the Lexin didn't break (probably some luck, but at least it held up the fight for me and didn't just give up and keep crashing the first hit). The volume is high enough to listen to music through headphones (yes, the Lexin pairs with a phone, but music, particularly the bass, is better with headphones) and I could still hear my son chanting while driving about the intercom spoke to me and when i was there wasn't even a maximum volume. The range depends on the conditions, but is sufficient. I would rarely need more range than there is as we would be so far apart that we wouldn't really ride together anymore. You can't just plug in your own headphones though, as the one jack they use also connects to a microphone, so keep that in mind. This is common, but some brands offer this option, albeit at a much higher price, usually more than double the price. I thought it might bother me, but since the included speakers are more than adequate, I can use headphones to listen to music on my phone for great sound and still hear the intercom through my headphones. Works great unless you're listening to music, which isn't a good idea anyway, and driving around town, at least not on the road. Dominant of the world of intercom, you will need it.
