We took them side by side and I was very happy with them. Talk time is good and remains remarkably clear from a distance. Basically, if you can see them, you can talk to them, and we're just using a node-to-node transition. I think I'll take two more and see how the daisy chain of four works. I decided to try these Lexin intercoms and I'm glad I did. They do everything they advertise well and are easy to use, which means they are not that complicated to use. They come together easily every time. Used them for a 6 hour road and mud ride with no issues. On one occasion my helmet fell off the seat as I stepped off the bike and the Lexin didn't break (probably some luck, but at least it held up the fight for me and didn't just give up and keep crashing the first hit). I've had the LX-B4FM intercom for a few days now and have been testing it. So far I can only recommend this device. I installed one device in an HJC CL-17 (L) helmet and the other in an LS2 Rapid (M) helmet. The standard Velco patch fits both earbuds, but the earbud cutout on the LS2 helmet is slightly smaller than the Velco patch. This did not result in any comfort or fit issues.
