I have had this cable for 5.5 years now and although it no longer works I will buy it again. Like other reviewers, I really abused this cable every day in the car - my aux port is in the console and there's no hole for the cable, so I chose the drive to access my MP3 player with the Open the console cover (annoying, that shouldn't have happened) or close the cover over the cable. I did the latter, so I wanted to buy something with a thick protective coating so I wouldn't crush the cable too much. It worked for about 5 years and in the last few months it has been falling in and out - not completely. , just turn the volume down as parts of the sound would disappear and then come back. That's impressive because the outside of the cable can't tell if there's any damage - the outer shell still looks perfect - but it's obvious that something is still a mess on the inside. Simply bending or bending the cable (or sometimes hitting the console) would fix it for a short time, but it's time to just toss the thing and get a new one. This time I can try to cut a small hole in the console cover frame to let it through. However, I give it 5 stars as it took longer than I thought it should have.
