We have a Samsung washing machine that is about 8 years old. We always leave the washing machine door open when not in use to allow air to enter the washing machine drum to prevent mold growth. Nevertheless, the washing machine smelled, especially towels that got wet again, like after a shower, would have an unpleasant order. It was so bad that we considered buying a new washing machine. We tried Affresh along with other washing machine cleaners. None of them had a significant impact. I heard about this product from radio host Gary Sullivan on his home improvement show. Since we were actually considering replacing the washer, I decided to try this to avoid having to replace the smelly washer. The first time I ran it you knew something was wrong as the laundry stunk while the machine went through a cleaning cycle with this product. We ran the cleaning cycle again but with no product. It was amazing, or ahh-some as they say. After two days I still noticed a faint trace of the smell and repeated the procedure again. I read where others did the 2nd treatment. After all, the car was operated for many years without such a cleaning. The second treatment did the rest. I think I did another treatment after 6-8 weeks. So we still have a car and our bath towels now smell fresh even when wet. I know it seems a little pricey but it will make a huge difference and the cheap products in the store won't work anyway. It also claims to work in your dishwasher.
