Review on πŸ”’ HSM SECURIO AF300 Cross-cut Shredder with Auto Paper Feed; Shreds up to 300 Sheets Automatically/19 Manually; 9 Gallon Capacity by Mario Olmos

Great shredder - love the automatic feed

This is a great shredder. I cleaned out my mother's house (60+ years of paperwork) and my old files. I bought it after starting to have problems with the Fellows 99ci which seems to overheat very easily and sometimes refuses to destroy it when it only has 2 sheets of paper. I've been working with Fellows support for "Calibration" but I'm still having issues and frustrations. (I had a 12 year old Aurora which almost never gave me any trouble until I lettered it - my fault, not the shredder! I bought Fellows to replace this one which worked without any problems.) HSM AF 150 for cross cutting only keeps running. I oil it regularly (like I do with Fellows). I give him loads of paper and he just keeps working until he runs out - 150 sheets at a time. Sometimes it can be difficult to get the automatic feed to start, but when it works, it's amazing. I can also feed single sheets while the auto feeder is running, which is very convenient. The device is relatively quiet and efficient. I have a P5 grinder that runs continuously which means it can keep running without overheating. Due to the grinder's small size, it compacts itself, allowing you to grind more than other grinders. Chic document shredder - works quietly, without jamming and that's it! I've used a few different brands at work etc and I think this is one of, if not the best!

Pros
  • Shred stacks of paper reliably and quickly with a powerful, non-stop motor and durable steel cutting rollers
Cons
  • Disappear
