I used this tripod on a recent trip to Yosemite. WOW! What a big difference in the quality of my video. I've tried other high quality tripods that I already own, but having the controls on the handle makes a world of difference. This tripod folds up in no time! Then I hang it on my shoulder with my camera and head off to my next shoot. The great thing is that you can turn off the camera, zoom, pan, record and even take photos while recording videos without taking your hands off the camera. Remove the tripod handle. I use this tripod with a Sony HDR-HC7 High Def camcorder.
