Display port issues in High Sierra and later

The device does what I need it to do. I haven't tried the audio output on the device because I use it as a working dock. It worked great up until High Sierra. After the update I could not use the cable with the display connector. Whether mini display port on the dock or HDMI to display port on the monitor. I read online that the company blames Apple for the incompatibility. I can understand Apple updating the operating system making the old drivers incompatible, but usually the company providing the product updates their drive to make it work with the new code. I really like this dock, but if there's an incompatibility with the devices it's designed for, it's Apple's fault. It just seems like an unprofessional and inferior product that shouldn't cost $300.

Pros
  • The LandingZone Dock for MacBook Pro with Touch Bar is a USB dock. This is not a Thunderbolt 3 dock.
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
