It was my second

I bought one of these but sounds so good! The first didn't last more than a year. $300.00! I thought lucky. I really liked how it worked so I bought another one. It was September 2019. I spent a week with almost no internet. Finally, the craftsman checked EVERYTHING. He got me to go to Best Buy and buy an adapter for my Libernet MacBook Pro. Wala! My speed went from 8.something to 19.something. Spent another $300 and because my ISP thought it might be a modem I had to call my computer tech toโ€ฆ

Doesn't work properly with computers and accessories

I've had three of these in the past few weeks. None of them worked properly. The former struggled when it only recognized one monitor at a time. The second recognized both monitors, but "woke up" after 3-5 minutes. The third had a weird bug where part of the sound came through the headphones and part of the sound went through the MacBook's internal speakers. I used to like docking stations for the landing zone. I've had them for my 2015 MacBook Pro for a long time. I just recently upgraded to a

Good docking station Docking stations

I wanted this dock because I found it to be the only dock that would allow an MBP to be attached to a desktop. I don't want to take my MBP with me every time I leave my desktop. I have had a Landing Zone Dock at work and one at home for my 2014 MBP for the past 2 years. As a result, I had the same settings at both locations and was able to work comfortably from home 2 days a week. I wanted the same experience with my new MBP and I got it. Fixes Macbook Pro design flaws

Apple has removed all service ports along with the SD/microSD slot. 4 USB-C ports and everything - even for power (which is a disaster and keeps dropping). Why did Apple do this? because they know what is good for us. In the meantime, we'll have to carry a large bag of keys to keep the system running. However, if you want to add a monitor and create a desktop station, the LandingZone Dock is solidly built, snaps easily into place, and adds all the ports you need.

Would highly recommend to my colleagues

This is my third docking station from Landingzone. My first was a Gofundme purchase for my MB Air 11 inch back. Since then I've had a 13" MB Air Dock and my now new MBP 13" Touchpad Dock. I actually just plugged everything in and entered via the Landingzone dock. .High Sierra includes all drivers. Unlike the early MB Air 11" and 13" where you had to load the NIC driver for the OS to recognize the Ethernet port. On the right side of the laptop is a side-open USB-C port if you want to bypass theโ€ฆ

Display port issues in High Sierra and later

The device does what I need it to do. I haven't tried the audio output on the device because I use it as a working dock. It worked great up until High Sierra. After the update I could not use the cable with the display connector. Whether mini display port on the dock or HDMI to display port on the monitor. I read online that the company blames Apple for the incompatibility. I can understand Apple updating the operating system making the old drivers incompatible, but usually the companyโ€ฆ
