And it shoots HD video, so my camera becomes a telephoto video camera. Fast focus - I just aim and shoot and the focus is very fast so I don't miss an important shot. There's even a special mode that takes 20 pictures in quick succession and chooses 5 to save and 1 as a favorite. Excellent for capturing the moment you kick a ball or perform some other action. Image Quality - Image quality is excellent, even when printing a full page (8 x 10). A larger size might also work, but I haven't (yet). Portability - The camera is relatively compact (for its features) and lightweight. Compared to a standard SLR (like the Nikon D5100 my son owns) it's tiny and much lighter. So I don't feel like I have a lot of weight on my neck. Highly recommended!
