The box is fine, has a rubber gasket to seal the lid and large plastic screws to lock it. WHAT THE SPECS DON'T TELL YOU: You lose some of the advertised internal dimensions due to the large corner head screw that goes to the bottom of the box. This really confused me as I was expecting the full advertised sizes in the box. Live and learn I guess.
