Review on 🐱 K&H Pet Products Outdoor Multi-Cat House Shelter Heated or Unheated by Keisha Crews

This is our second K&H purchase. The first was a heated frame cat house we bought a few years ago for a feral cat that we made from TNR. He sprayed it, so now it smells horrible. Anyway, back to this one. The quality of this house is superior to the half-timbered house. The roof is insulated from above, which provides some thermal insulation. I appreciate how easy it is to customize the design which is much better at keeping the cat warm. A small enclosed space is ideal for windbreak. I bought this for a stray/feral cat who has been visiting us for about 6 months and eating on our back porch. He is very shy and will not be touched. It took some time and patience to get him to sleep on the heated pillow and we know it will take more than that to keep him warm. So we bought this and put it where the heating pad was and I managed to get her into the cat house for a few minutes by tempting her with the food inside. I had to remove the small door panels. The work is not yet complete. The reason I lowered the rating in the review is because the house stinks. I don't know if it's paint or glue, but it has a faint chemical smell. It's even harder to get a cat to use it.
