Review on ๐Ÿฑ Enhance Your Indoor Cat's Playtime with Petsfit Cat Tree - a Modern Scratching Post Hideout and Cat Condo with Removable Washable Mats by Brooke Abrahams

Ideal if your cats like to scratch on the carpet

What surprised me about this scratch mat is that it doesn't need to be adjusted. It's already assembled. Hooray! Part of the carpet is attached to the side of the board with Velcro. It seems enough to keep him on the tree. And so for the most part. How our cats started scratching the sides, although the carpet lifted a little as if trying to get its claws off. You can see a small bump on the corner of the rug. It might not sound like much, but it seemed to bother the cats a bit. They hesitated to return to him when the carpet began to snag their claws. What I did do was add some double sided tape to hold the carpet down while they scratched. The tape comes off easily enough as the mat also comes off easily as it just sticks on with velcro. As you can see they love the little cave part of the pillar. ๐Ÿ˜ Our big boy loves to hide in it and surprise passers-by. It is very comfortable thanks to the beautiful wool lining that comes with it and it fits perfectly inside. Don't worry if your kid doesn't use it right away. I had to sprinkle him with catnip before they approached him, which I did at other posts. All in all a very cute little apartment for your cats, especially if they love carpet.
