I bought these for my Echo Spot as I don't plan on using the camera anytime soon and didn't want to play around with the settings to disable the camera and also protect it from hackers. . I wasn't sure at first if there would be a big enough hole for the camera in the spot, but it looks like it ONLY has a big enough hole. I haven't checked if this is blocking part of the actual camera image, but it doesn't seem to be related. You just need to make sure the camera is in the center of the hole. The shutter moves back and forth without much effort, although I did not try it in the first attempts after mounting the cover. They seem strong enough for my needs
