Super thick. Seems to be very durable. My trash can smelled really bad. I cleaned it and put one of those liners in it. I tied the corner so she wouldn't fall off when she throws the trash. Lasted all week, no problems. The garbage truck dumped the garbage, but the liner stayed. I'm guessing it may be a few weeks before my trash stinks again, then I'll close and tie the bag before the trash runs and put a new bag in. Update: 3 months later. I still like these very much. In this hot summer, my trash can would be disgusting. In fact, there were larvae there a few weeks ago. It still smelled a bit strange in the glass after the rubbish came in, but the inside was clean - nice. I tie the corner of the bag so it doesn't fall off when I add trash. In the cooler months, the liner will degrade for a couple of weeks. When I need to change my liner, I take the pouch out of my lip and tie it shut.
