This ceiling fan and louvered light was just what I was looking for to complete the lighting in my home. It went in the porch and looks great. The cage style really brings together the space and farmhouse look I wanted. I always hire an electrician for anything wiring related as my new house is actually very old. He said it was pretty easy to hang and set up and I live by the way it looks. You wouldn't even know it was a fan until you turned on the fan and the leaves popped out. They are really hidden in this style. They are colored brown to match the fan and beautifully curved. Everyone is surprised when I tell them that this is a fan too. The 5 lights really do a great job of illuminating the room! Sunburn helps bring down the heat in winter and the cool air in summer. Fans are good all year round! I can control it comfortably with the remote control. I attached the remote to the wall so we wouldn't lose it, but it's easy to use. I can control the fan or light speed. The fan has several different speeds to choose from, all controlled by the remote control. Light bulbs are not included, so prepare them in advance, standard E26 size will do. The fan is also very quiet, unless you look up you won't know it's running. It also comes in different lengths depending on how low I want it to hang. I love the design and it was worth every penny. Try to buy something so cool you won't find it in the store!
