I took the more expensive drawer version as I thought it would be useful. However, based on my experience, I did not use it, it was more of a burden than helpful. Every time I pull out or slide the table, the drawer comes out and I want to take it off. It doesn't snap and is also very thin. I'm sure it will break down over time. Also the table is very light but I think they compromised on the finish/laminate due to the weight because as soon as I got it it came chipped. I see that laminate flooring will not last long. Plus the fact that it's made of MDF, if the laminate fails and water gets underneath it will easily deteriorate. Especially around the cup holder. Although the legs feel strong. All in all it wasn't worth the price in my opinion.
