The right product for me, the price suited me.

For my money, the lens is just a gift (I took mine for 14 from my hands). Which is better costs more. So for travel, walks, photo hunting (generally shooting outdoors), it is completely suitable. It’s worse indoors, because it’s dark, and even with 1,5 minimum focusing distance you can’t clear up. Take it, you won't regret it. With its pros. + sharp + fast (before it was 55-300, now it’s a brake compared to 70-300) + convenient, wide zoom ring + real telephoto ("honest" 300 mm at close range, in contrast to the same 28-300, in which a focal length of 300 mm from one and a half meters really equals only 150 mm) + decent VR (again, 28-300 holds weaker, the image "staggers" a lot) + small filter diameter (larger diameter - more price for the filter) + fine-tuning the focus with a ring (at 55-300 there is no such thing, for example) Has some cons - heavy and overall, but this is a telephoto - the hood in the transport position closes the zoom ring, it is not very convenient to change focal lengths in this case - a bit dark, but you can’t buy 70-200 / 2,8 for that kind of money - MDF (minimum focusing distance) as much as 1.5 meters.
