I bought the $450 version of this chair, with the mesh bottom upgrade, the upgraded arms and metal back arm. The chair wasn't too bad to assemble, relatively simple and easy, if taking a little bit of time. But no problem doing it by myself. At the end of assemly, I unpacked the headrest and noticed the arm was snapped in half. A bit disappointed considering how well everything was packaged.I wasn't able to return the chair for a replacement, as I had stripped a couple of the heads on the bolts assembling it. I contacted them through Ebay questions and they told me they don't stock replacement parts. Insteaf the gave me a full refund without returning the chair. Awesome customer service.Unfortunately, despite this, I can't recommend the chair. I've been very gentle with the chair, as I've been worried about stretching the mesh seat from sitting down too hard, and this is an expensive so I want it to last. That won't be the case. I went to adjust the back height, as it had fallen to it's lowest setting. It uses one of those systems where you lift it and it clicks into place. Lift it all the way up and it releases and slides back down to the bottok setting.Well trying to adjust it, it was stuck. I got up and tried from behind, with a foot on the base, and lifting from under the bottom of the back rest, and eventually was able to get it loose and adjusted. I didn't use a lot of force. Every time it falls back to the lowest position though, it gets stuck again.I noticed one time while doing this, the top arm of the backrest is cracked all the way through. Maybe this was lingering damage from shipping/handling like how the headrest was broken. But it doesn't instill faith in the product, and this will end up breaking soon I'm sure. To have a heavy duty upgrade for the back, but not reinforce anything beyond the arm feels pointless if the rest of the back doesn't last.The short of it: 18 days, of very gentle use, by someone of 220lbs, and the chair is on its way out the door. Which is really too bad, because while it lasted, the chair has been incredibly supportive and otherwise felt like it was good quality. The lumbar is designed great, holds you well, hits the right spots, isn't too firm or too soft. The mesh seat is great. I had planned to give it a good review at a month if all was still good. But sadly the product just doesn't hold up. A more robust and reinforced product around this price point would be an amazing product, but as it stands, I can't recommend it.
