Review on ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Spiegelau European-Made Lead-Free Dishwasher: Professional Food Service Equipment at its Finest by Pete Norris

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A slight improvement over other quality glass but still good glass

I finally broke enough pilsner tulips on Spiegelau stems to buy more glasses. I thought it might be worth a try. First impressions: 1) The glass is really thick for a Spiegelau. Her other glasses are made of thin, delicate glass that appears very high quality. It looks bulkier and heavier. 2) Taller and thinner than a tulip on a stem. I found the stemmed tulip to be pretty much the glass of choice for most styles as it had a firm cup to collect the aroma and was slightly flared at the top. Being narrower I was worried about losing the smell a bit but thankfully I didn't notice a difference. Overall this is a good lens but I wouldn't rush it and replace it with other quality lenses. If I had to choose, I'd say I prefer the stemmed pilsner, mainly because it seems to be a higher quality glass than this one.
