Product Overview PTU-71

When I received the mics I unpacked them and found that they are metal and not cheap plastic which will fall apart in your hands. The receiver is also made of metal and is strong enough to withstand the rough conditions of the road. I have a set of PTU 5000 wireless mics and have certainly not been disappointed with the performance of these mics, reliable and durable are the words I would use to describe them. This is the first of two parts of the review I will be writing. The first part of the review is the initial pros and cons of the device as I haven't had a chance to use the system live yet. Pros: All-metal construction and ease of installation are must-haves when you're on the go. with this system and this is where the product really excels. If you are using the drawer to store the system when not in use I recommend using the foam that comes in the box as all parts have their place and the foam in the drawer does not need to be custom made. comfort. : If you're a singer who doesn't play a musical instrument, the mic fits comfortably in your hand and isn't too big to cramp your arms at the end of the night. Customer Service: Above all, it exceeds your expectations! Emails are answered very quickly and Phynex takes responsibility for the quality of their products and is very effective in fixing any bugs or defects that may arise when using their products. Price: Don't be fooled by the price of this system, it's good. worth the investment. Where else will you find great customer service, a great system that's reliable enough at this price point to withstand the rigors of road work? I encourage you to do better! As usual, I did a lot of research, looking for replacement devices or whatever I use, since that's what I do for a living. I haven't found any other system in the price range that can do what the PTU-71 does. Cons: This may or may not be a disadvantage depending on how you use the system. The system is not rack mountable as it does not have rack mounting grommets. However, there is a workaround. It can be installed on a Raxxess shelf that has cable tie slots at the bottom. I would recommend installing it to the shelf and receiver with velcro, then attaching two zip ties to the front and then two to the sides. Thus, the receiver is not exposed to movement or damage. I don't see any other disadvantages at the moment and I don't foresee them either. This is just the first part of the review and once I can use the system I will continue the review from there. I have. The only disadvantage is the position of the on/off switch. If your singer is holding the microphone, it's possible that the microphone was accidentally muted. If you use mic stands like we do, this is not a problem at all. If you only need two mics, this is absolutely the way to go. I noticed very small differences compared to the PTU-5000. Another advantage of this device is the ease of setup. It only took 3 minutes to install and get up and running. You couldn't ask for an easier installation and removal of the device. I decided to mount mine in a rack for very easy portability. Overall I would say this system is as good if not better than more expensive systems. I would definitely recommend this system to anyone looking for high quality and performance at an extremely affordable price. Keep it up Phoenix!
