UPDATED June 11th So I decided to keep it despite the button issue and have used it a few times today and I'm returning it. I loaded this unit with 300 mp3 files ripped from another old mp3 player so the files are fine and it keeps playing the same 5-6 songs when you press shuffle. Another reviewer mentioned this but it was only one person so thought they might have gotten a defective one. Maybe we have both. I don't know but the feature I wanted the most from this device was the stirrer function and since it doesn't work I'm sending it back. First Review: One of the plastic sticks in the storage case was broken. when I opened the package. The other part was missing. I bought this to use during my workouts and wanted something I could slip into my running belt pouch or bag and manipulate without looking at it. The power button is the only tactile button on this device. There are "touch" buttons on the B-side of the player, which aren't buttons at all. These are simply spots on the cartridge body that, when touched, perform the function assigned to that sensor. You will not see any buttons on the device. Only after sticking the stickers do you understand where these sensors are located. This should be clear and should not be called "buttons" as that is misleading. There are no buttons on this device other than the power button. All of this means that if you have this device in your pocket and want to adjust the volume, skip a track or whatever, you need to be able to feel around the player and hopefully find a place to get the job done. I understand they wanted to be retro, but the tiny tactile buttons could be incorporated into the stickers you put on the player.
