I read the reviews and was amazed by the look of these chairs. Very glad I made this purchase. For the price of design and quality, you would expect these chairs to likely double the current retail price ($59.99). All accessories on the chair are one. It appears to be polished stainless steel used even under a chair. Very easy to assemble. The only punch (if it can be considered as such) is the mounting block that the legs attach to under the seat itself. This is a fairly rough piece of squared timber. The rest of the chairs are sleek and well finished. You won't see this mounting block unless you look directly under the chair. That's why I'm not deducting a star from his rating. You sit comfortably in it. I'm 6ft 1in, 235lbs and it fits me.
