Bought this for my 1 year old as the park swings are closed due to COVID 19. They appear to be slightly larger than the regular park swings. It is important to note that the recommended age here is between 6 months and 4 years; but on the swing it stands from 2 to 5 years. That's why other comments say that if the child sits too far forward, it's dangerous for their child and it's easy to roll over. I recently bought a play set for my kids that only had a regular flat rubber swing. I bought this as a supplement for my 1 year old son and I couldn't be happier. This swing is incredibly durable and fun! The only slight downside is (as mentioned in other posts) that a sitting baby tends to lean their head forward when rocking. This happens more often when a small child is in a sitting position. Unfortunately the swing I received does not match. The links/chains on the right side of the swing are a different size and narrower than those on the left. The left side chain was attached to the swing, but the right side chain was not. The mismatch also causes the swing to hang awkwardly. One side is on link 8 and the other side is on link 10 just to bring it even closer. As a result, it doesn't seem entirely certain to me. Between mixed and rainy days he doesn't get as much playtime as he'd like (he'll swing all day if I let him!) so I figured one of those bucket swings around the house would be a great solution.
