Dermatologist Suggests Too Much Moisturizer I love this product. I've been using it for a few days (once a day) and still no irritation from the retinol. Here's how I use it: First I wash my face and then apply a moisturizer. I apply this retinol product over my moisturizer (Cerave Moisturizer). This method was suggested by a dermatologist on YouTube. She says retinol gets on the skin even when applied over a moisturizer. I have noticed that the dark spot I had for many years is disappearing. I have my fingers crossed that I can use this product long enough for the stain to go away completely. I tend to get bored while eating. I have no problem with this product flaking under makeup which has helped me use it consistently.
