Review on Advanced Aquatop Quartz Glass Submersible Heaters (50W-300W) by Lori Stein

DO NOT BELIEVE REVIEWS FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE USED THIS HEATER LESS THAN HALF A MONTH! They're not stupid or anything, they just haven't had a heater long enough to fail. for my two 7 gallon tanks. The two heaters didn't stop working last week which I found because the water was much warmer than usual when I went to feed my fish. The tanks were between 86 and 88 degrees, although set at 78 or 80 degrees. Luckily I found the problem just before the fish died. When I took the heaters out of the tank, they were so hot they almost burned my fingers, which doesn't usually happen. Good aquarium heaters are really hard to come by, but you can narrow down your choices a bit by avoiding this one.
