picture and sound quality is very good. The main problem is to understand how to use the spy pen as the instructions are incomplete. Hence the rating is 4 stars. The instructions say to pay attention to the blue light when starting a video or in standby mode. If you look directly at the hole where the blue light comes from, it's very difficult to see the blue light. The instructions should state that you need to tilt the pen slightly forward to clearly see the blue light in standby mode. When I turn off the video, the light on my pen flashes a few times before turning blue in standby mode. The instructions don't mention that the light will blink when the video is off. The kit contains a piece of metal in the form of a loop with a pointer at the end. There is no instruction telling you what its purpose is. I assume this needs to be inserted into the hole to reset the device. It took some time to learn how to use the device. More detailed instructions will help.
