Review on Enhancing Your Stargazing Experience: Meade Telescopes Upgrade Control Console by Bobby Montoya

I thought I bought the wrong item as I have the ZEQ25 and SmartEQPro mounts. Also, I've never seen a telescope control cable for these mounts that had a USB connector on one end and a DB9 connector on the other. They usually end with a serial connector that requires a serial to USB converter that contains the chips that do the conversion. Since this cable didn't have that configuration, I figured it might just work with the IEQ30 Pro mount. When it arrived I decided to give it a try and it worked great with both mounts as well as my ASCOM drivers and planetarium software! No separate serial to USB converter required. I didn't even have to download any additional drivers! Works great!
