First of all I have to say that this cabinet locking system is awesome! Then I have to say we got them as gifts and then bought more because they are so wonderful. This is a great alternative to others that have a small plastic stick that fits inside the cabinet, then you have to open the cabinet a little, push the lever down and then you can open the cabinet all the way. I never liked them because they are annoying and if you don't want to use them you have to remove them completely from the door. Also, it seems like a pretty easy way to pinch little fingers because the closet opens up a bit. So, back to the TotLok system :) They can be locked and unlocked, so if there's no kid in the room you can unlock the system, then you can just go to your closets with no problems like it's not even there. If there is a child in the room, you can go through, flip the lever to lock the lock and then the door will not open at all. In my opinion this is the safest and easiest system ever! Another thing I like about them is the customer service. I didn't have part of the kit that we received as a gift and emailed the company. They sent me the part for free, no questions asked, it was great. Now, of course, it was a tiny part. So if I missed a lot of things it may not be free but it was still great how fast they responded, very nice person! all in all i think if you don't get this system you are crazy :) because i didn't find anything that great!
