I bought this elastic band due to arthritis and lack of arm strength, it was difficult for me to take the phone out especially from my purse. The description showed that the rubber band has a slight curve to make it easier to grip. The rubber has no flex. Now that at least six months have passed, the entire rubber band has stretched a bit and is a bit easier to grip. Another problem with this accessory is that it slides my phone face first out of the phone case; resulting in that chipaway at the edge of the screen protector. I wouldn't buy this again.
