For those of you looking for a WiFi/Bluetooth solution for your Hackintosh build, here are some clarifications that I hope will help someone: This adapter enables you installing a Broadcom BCM94360CD wireless card into your Hackintosh system (BCM94360CD is the wireless card originally used in the iMac). However, note that not all wireless cards based on the BCM94360 chipset are the same, and not all older wireless cards based on the BCM94360 will work with this particular adapter. For example, the similar but slightly different BCM943602CS wireless Broadcom card will NOT work with this adapter (the BCM943602CS was used in an Apple MacBook Air). What is the difference between the BCM94360CD and BCM943602CS wireless cards? Well, on the BCM943602CS, the little pins you attach the antenna cables to are a bit smaller than on the BCM94360CD. This distinction may seem trivial, but it is actually very important. So let me reiterate: the antenna pins on this adapter are designed to fit the large pins on the BCM943602CD wireless card and are not compatible with the smaller pins on the BCM943602CS wireless card. If you want to use BCM943602CS there is another adapter. Available here on Revain (and a few other sites). Some are just junk and don't work. I was able to set up and run the adapter I bought from this list. So if you bought an adapter from the same batch, you should be fine. If you want to use one of these cards for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity while booting into Windows, the Windows drivers you can get through Apple Boot Camp Assistant will suffice. I understand that getting these drivers can be difficult for those who don't have access to a proper Mac, but that's it. You can probably find them with a Google search. For WiFi to work, you need a Bootcamp driver called BroadcomWirelessWin8x64.exe (which works fine on Windows 10). For Bluetooth, the required driver is "BroadcomBluetooth64.exe". Setting up and running Bluetooth requires some work under the hood of Windows 10, but it will work great once you get it right. There are also some third parties that sell various aftermarket BCM94360 cards that have a PCIe x1 slot (no adapter used). Several Hackintosh manufacturers have reported success with these versatile aftermarket devices. However, keep in mind that most of these third-party all-in-one cards are Wi-Fi only - no Bluetooth radio is included with the card. Good luck and I hope this article helps someone!
