Review on πŸ“ž AT&T CL2940 Corded Phone with Speakerphone, Extra-Large Tilt Display and Buttons, Caller ID and Call Waiting, Audio Assist – Black by Christina Luhrs

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Basic office phone then this one works fine - has good call quality and good volume settings

volume options. It's also handy to dent the speakerphone button on the bottom right, so I like the phone itself. The bad news is that it's outdated tech, runs on batteries, and doesn't light up at all. Pros: Cheap and high quality phone. Good communication quality. Can be as loud/quiet as you want. touch sensitive - Large buttons make dialing easier Cons - Powered by 4 AA batteries - LCD screen and buttons don't light up, meaning you can't see anything in a dark room - Caller ID has an 'unknown number'. " for all incoming cell phones, most local calls - Text under the keys is difficult to read, especially when the room is dark/darker - Won't plug into an outlet - Phone cord (from base to handset) is very short. Not enough for my desk - Annoyingly the model number is shown on the standard LCD screen.Overall this phone wasn't bad enough that I wanted to return it but I'm already looking forward to my next phone and only have it for two days. They decided to save 30 cents on assembly and not put LEDs behind the buttons and on the LCD screen. I would love this phone if it were lighted. I almost hate it because it's like a premium single-line office phone looks from the 1980's - that's it You're paying $20 for technology that's almost 40 years old If you're on a tight budget and always know where to go If this phone is used, buy it. Really, call quality matters Different for base, base model. Otherwise, there are plenty of better options for a few bucks more that actually feel state-of-the-art (headset jack option, backlit buttons/screen, working caller ID, etc.). I personally wouldn't buy this phone again - a few missing features are a deal breaker for me.
