I ordered these boots to replace my previous orthopedic boots which were so loud and squeaky they could be heard around the house. I couldn't go anywhere without waking people up because it sounded like I was constantly crushing a bag of potato chips. This boot gave me the comfort and peace of mind I desired. I was in the trunk 8 weeks before ordering this one and I wish I had ordered it sooner. Unlike my previous one, I have no issues with bumps in this shoe as long as I have a tennis shoe on the other foot. I used to need alignment, but not with this boot. With 4 air chambers I can adjust the boot for the best fit and comfort. I added velcro to the top strap as it kept sliding down. After 2.5 months the airbox on the front panel stopped holding air. I contacted the manufacturer and they quickly replaced it for me under warranty. 5 stars for customer service. I usually wear women 7.5 but got a small one. It says the little one fits an 8.5 but I can't imagine an 8.5 as my toes are pretty close to the edge and I'm only a 7.5.
