Specifically designed to provide mobility, protection and pneumatic support for day-to-day activities while recovering from injury. Intended for stable fractures of the foot and ankle, severe ankle sprains, soft tissue injuries, forefoot and midfoot injuries, bunionectomies and post-operative use. Low rocker sole promotes a natural ambulation (gait) for improved mobility; Provides ample room for dressings without sacrificing comfort. Includes 2 sock liners and a hand bulb air pump which allows you to customize the level of support needed. Universal fit allows the Aircast XP Walker Brace / Walking Boot to be worn on either the left or right leg.

Helps with ankle pain while walking

I bought the large one. I wear women's size 11. It was perfect and much cheaper than average. Medium would be too short, my toes would dangle. Before that I wore an aircast brace, which didn't really help my ankle, which was a broken fibula with ligament damage. This boot supports my ankle well and I can walk without much pain. I love the 4 adjustable air chambers! Delivery was very quick with standard shipping ($2.99), ordered late Tuesday evening, received Thursday morning. The only complaint

Worth every penny best in ankle wraps

I ordered these boots to replace my previous orthopedic boots which were so loud and squeaky they could be heard around the house. I couldn't go anywhere without waking people up because it sounded like I was constantly crushing a bag of potato chips. This boot gave me the comfort and peace of mind I desired. I was in the trunk 8 weeks before ordering this one and I wish I had ordered it sooner. Unlike my previous one, I have no issues with bumps in this shoe as long as I have a tennis shoe onโ€ฆ

Same shoe for a fraction of the price of an ER or Ambulance!

My son injured his ankle badly at school. The swelling was very, very strong. Enough that when it broke they had to wait for the swelling to go down to put it on. After the X-ray confirmed nothing was broken, but there could be a small stress fracture in the growth plate, we were told that walking shoes were the best option and were ripped off by the medical supply company that provides these types of emergency supplies. (I charged nearly $500 for myself for the same version in a differentโ€ฆ
