Review on Wein Vortex VI-3500 Ionic Room Air Purifier by Beverly Smith

This ionizer is touted as one of the most powerful indoor ionizers on the market. Unless there has been a change in the rules or which ionizers are allowed to be emitted based on the volume, I consider this product to be very weak. full of static electricity and heavy dust when particles fall from the air. It was metal (it's plastic) and a quarter the size. Maybe it's because I live in Florida with high humidity and little dust particles, or maybe with so much electronics that these ionizers can't produce that now with computers and phones. high ionization without damaging it, but compared to what I bought almost 40 years ago, this is a much inferior product; at about the same price. I have very little dust to indicate it's doing its job and I don't notice much of a difference in air quality. Thought to send it back. Hard to believe that this is the most powerful ionizer on the market today.
