These work great! The heat is right above your toes and some on top your foot. They don’t get too hot as to make your feet sweat. You don’t want your feet sweating in the cold. It’s a mild warm. More than enough heat to combat the snow and cold!I’ve worn them all week at work in a cold snowy stone mill. I’ve been walking in 2 inches of snow and on cold concrete at times. I tend to use the high setting when I need it for about 15-20min at a time. Then I’m good for a wile. Weather here has been ranging from 19-40 degrees all week. I love these socks! Warm feet at work!Socks are thick and high quality. The little pouch at the top of the socks holds the small pinky finger size battery. I don’t even notice it wearing these 8hrs a day. Comfortable!Sitting at home in an 75 degree house and trying heated socks on isn’t gonna give you the results you want. Put them on and go out in the cold to see they really get the job well done! Great buy! May get another pair!
