At first I thought they were not that good, but they do heat up. I still think there needs to be at least one higher level of heat. Got me and my son both a pair and sat outside in a tree stand with weather below 20 degrees from daylight till dark feet never got cold and we would turn them off and on becausewe knew the battery wouldn't of lasted the entire 11 hours

The socks themselves are comfortable and warm. Definitely feel like good quality. They do get warm, however; not warm enough. For example, the hottest of the 3 settings gives noticeable warmth but definitely not satisfactory. I must note that I have not gotten the chance to wear them outdoors with shoes, only around the house.

the title says it all. I should have known this by looking at the product image with heat arrows coming off the top of the feet. this is exactly what these do, almost burning by feet (top side) and nothing on the calves where I most want it. the battery life is around 1-1/2 to maybe 2 Hrs at most. so you really need more than one set of batteries and have to switch them continuously if you want them to work and warm up your feet. Not exactly what I had in mind.

They don't get really wam, but they are very comfortable. As long as the heating element holds out, I will be satisfied. Took about three hours to charge.

These work great! The heat is right above your toes and some on top your foot. They don’t get too hot as to make your feet sweat. You don’t want your feet sweating in the cold. It’s a mild warm. Received the socks a month ago and only recently decided to open the box and use them. Bought them in Anticipation of cold weather and when I opened the box the charger was missing. Contacted their customer service and they promptly sent out the charger.

I bought these socks for hunting because here in the Northeast, you can sit for long hours in stand. I need to keep the setting on high, because the low and medium settings are to me non-existent. The batteries seem to only last around 3 hours which to me is not long enough.

These didn’t get as hot as I thought they would. I have icy cold feet due to medical condition (Renault’s syndrome) they did help but the heat was inconsistent.

Just wore the socks in CO for 5 days of skiing in 30 degree weather. Put them on low and they lasted all day. Never once thought about my feet, which normally ache in the cold. Not sure if low would be enough to last all day on those few -5 degree days. I will probably buy a second set so that I can use both sets of batteries on super cold days and to swap the socks out for washing. Recommended.

These socks were not used much as my wife felt they did not heat her feet sufficiently. I had to do some outdoor work at freezing temperatures for several days. The socks did keep my feet from freezing but not warm. Yesterday I noticed one sock felt cooler on the heating element when I took the sock off. The battery still had charge. Today after work, the sock element was cold. Avoid this.

These socks were listed for skiing (and I even see some reviews that used them for skiing) but the socks I received are way too short for my standard height ski boots. Plus, even if they were tall enough, I feel like the battery would just get pushed out of its pocket from the top of the ski boot because there is nothing to secure the battery in. I am returning them and will keep looking.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. He loves them and they totally work. The socks are very soft and comfortable. The medium setting is perfect.
