This comb kept my hands from getting tired when straightening my hair with a flat iron. I've had others, but I've always felt like I'd pull my hair out while ironing because the teeth are very small and close together. Not with this comb. With other combs like this, I always had to blow dry my hair first to get the comb through my type 3 curls smoothly, not with this comb. I just let my hair air dry and without heating up my naturally curly hair, this comb allows me to comb through easily and not lose more than my usual amount of hair, if any.
