Useful for measuring voltage for ground/earth and EMF.

Looks pretty cool. I bought this to test my body voltage before and after grounding, as well as EMI levels in my home. For those unfamiliar with electrical engineering, the concepts of using this type of device were counterintuitive, but I'm pretty sure all of these products look as professional as they seem. I watched a few YouTube videos on how to measure body current and figured it out pretty quickly. I was able to use this information to figure out what was causing the electrical current to surge in our bedroom (our bedside lamps and their cords). This showed that grounding raised my voltage from about 2V (no ground) to 0.005V (grounded) just sitting on my bed. When I touched my lamp it went over 15V! Just touching the wire made me 5V. As soon as I took care of the lamps my reading on my bed dropped to 0.45V with no ground and then the same 0.005V with ground. It is interesting to walk around the house and control the EMF currents. Of course we shouldn't be standing near our microwave/oven combo! :/ I had a question about a product and emailed customer service. They were friendly and emailed me back fairly quickly. This seems like a fair deal as it is one of the cheapest models that includes mG for EMF.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and chunky
