Works with a caveat.
I took a 400gph pump and it works if you put it on the side of the tank but if you put it on the bottom of the tank I think air gets into the pump. until you move it enough to deflate. Not a big deal, but I could see someone thinking it's not working, or maybe it's a problem if you're trying not to contaminate the liquid the pump has been submerged in.
