Not recommended. The rabbit's head is very hard/heavy and too big for little fingers/hands. My grandson kept accidentally hitting himself while trying to rock him like a rattle. Personally, I was amazed and it hurt. I sent it back the next day after receiving it. Once I saw him accidentally hit himself so that he cried and left a red stain. I sent it back. It's a nice idea, but they should make it softer and not as heavy.
