This beanie is a foam visor with swimsuit fabric over it. It works very well and keeps the sun off my eyes and face as I spend the day at the water park. I was hoping I could tie it tight enough to go down some of the quieter water slides, but that's not enough. A strong wind would blow it right off my head. My head is a little smaller than average, but no one looking at me would guess. If your head is bigger than mine, you'll probably be fine. I can still wear this even with a slight breeze and I will still enjoy it. Just remember that if your head is small, it may not be stressful enough for you.
